Human Oversight & User Safety
AI at Digisoul is designed to support human decision-makers, not replace accountability. For any AI-assisted workflow we create for ourselves or our clients, we define who is responsible, when human review is required, and how users are protected from harmful or misleading outcomes.
When Humans Stay in the Loop
- Strategy & High-Impact Decisions: Recommendations that can materially impact brand reputation, legal exposure, or key business metrics must be reviewed and approved by a qualified human owner.
- Risk-Sensitive Journeys: AI-generated outputs used in finance, healthcare, staffing, or other sensitive areas require human validation before they are finalised or communicated as fact.
- Escalation Paths: Any output that appears biased, unsafe, or factually questionable can and should be escalated for manual review and correction.
How We Protect Users
- Clear Purpose: AI components are implemented with documented goals and constraints, avoiding dark patterns or manipulative designs.
- Safety Guardrails: We apply filters, policies, and prompt constraints to reduce harmful, abusive, or misleading content.
- Explainability: Where feasible, we present AI outputs in a way that allows humans to understand the basis or context, especially for data-driven decisions.
- Challenge & Correction: Clients and end-users can question outputs, request clarification, and obtain human review using the contact channels in our policies.
- No Fully Unsupervised Critical Decisions: Digisoul does not authorize the deployment of AI systems that autonomously make irreversible, high-risk decisions about individuals without defined human oversight and controls.
